MY FAVOURITE CLEANSER-CETAPHIL gentle skin cleanser

I have been using this for about 2 years.I decided to give it a try at that time was because of my skin was becoming more and more sensitive due to over exfoliation.I really like this cleanser not only because of this cleanser helped my skin when my skin`s condition was really bad,on top of that,this cleanser won`t wash away your natural lipid layer on your skin surface,so after using for a long time your skin`s hydration level will increase also.I tried to change to other amino acid base cleanser before,but lastly I still come back to this one,this was due to foaming cleanser really hurt your skin after a long term usage.


Product claims Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser is great for daily makeup removal. Originally formulated for dermatologists, this cleanser is gentle on your skin and sensitive to your skin’s needs. Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser will not strip the skin of natural protective oils or emollients, or disturb the skin’s natural pH balance. This dermatologist-recommended cleanser is fragrance-free and non-comedogenic. Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser is gentle enough for children, teens and adults.

From the ingredient list we can see that there are only eight ingredients in the cleanser,really simple ingredients.As what I had posted before,propylene glycol can cause clog pore and blackhead,this is one of my worries about this product.Besides that,this cleanser also use sodium lauryl sulfate~!*Normally,sodium lauryl sulfate,sodium laureth sulphate(SLS) and sodium ammonium sulfate are added into cleanser,shampoo and shower gel to aid the foaming process,but these 3 ingredient can`t be used on delicated skin like your facial skin,they will strip away your natural lipid layer[contain natural moisturizing factor,NMF ]that helps to protect and maintain the hydration level of your skin,besides that over exfoliation will destroy the lipid layer also.However, for this cleanser the SLE concentration is less than 1 percent so it is safe to use on your face.*If you are allergic to either of the three ingredients above,the symptom is you will see small tiny bump containing pus.I had experienced that with clinique gel cleanser,Vichy gel cleanser will cause that also.So,stay away from these 3 ingredients~!

This cleanser has no bubble at all , this is good for your skin because bubble cleanser will increase your skin pH value above pH5.5,consequently causing you feel dry and the skin will prone to infection if the skin`s pH value is above 5.5,then you will get acne or pimples.Our skin are born with a pH value of 5.5 to prevent the entry of bacteria,because this pH value is not favour for bacteria growth.*If your pH value is unbalance ,one of the symptom will be over excretion of sebum.In addition,this cleanser has no smell and comes with a slippery texture to prevent you over rub your skin while you are cleansing.However,I heard some of my friends complained that they didn`t feel clean after cleansing because after using this cleanser there will be like a slippery layer on your face.It is true,you can`t remove water proof sunblock or makeup with this cleanser.

The way of using this cleanser is same with the other,but for this cleanser you have to use generously and in a gentle motion to ensure all the dirt and excessive sebum have been dissolved.

Cons: can`t clean water proof sunblock and makeup,some may feel not clean enough after using this(individually,I ok)
